GBA Legal & Legislative Policy – Future of Money, Governance & the Law

The Government Blockchain Association (GBA) Legal & Legislative Policy Working Group will be meeting on the 4th Saturday of each month at 11:00 AM (New York) from June through October, with no meetings scheduled around the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

The Working Group is bringing together GBA members interested in legal, legislative, regulatory, and policy issues related to emerging technologies. Participants will help develop contributions to a report that will be published on Capitol Hill and at the United Nations in New York during the Future of Money, Governance and the Law event series, taking place September 29–October 2.

This year’s event series will focus on the impact of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Quantum technologies on financial services. The New York program at the United Nations will place particular emphasis on the Global Digital Compact and its implications for governance, finance, law, and digital transformation.

GBA members are encouraged to participate in the Working Group and contribute their insights to this important policy discussion.
