GBA London Chapter Addressing Over-Payments of Benefits Using Blockchain
Barking and Dagenham invited the GBA London Chapter to present what Blockchain is and how it could help the Council to address some of their most challenging issues. Afterward, Tommy Jamet announced that the  GBA London Chapter will be working in close collaboration with the council.
The initial work will focus on addressing the over-payments of council benefits using the technology. This use case will then be pitched to government officials in early 2019 for implementation. The London Chapter is building a project team of 10 volunteers to build up the use case. During the meeting, Natalie Pankova, PhD delivered a deep dive presentation of the Estonia health care use case. The GBA is so proud of the great work that the London chapter is doing and the example that they are setting for GBA Chapters around the world
