2026 Blockchain & Government Schedule
The GBA Blockchain Showcase is designed to demonstrate to law makers, policy leaders and government administrators many of the ways that blockchain and web3 related technologies can be used by government to reduce fraud, waste, and abuse. government officials, business leader, and innovators will be showcasing the systems and solutions that are being used to support public sector missions.
The sessions below are intended to be rapid fire demonstrations of capability with reference to QR codes and printed materials available to attendees for more information and to contact the presenters.
1:00 PM
Welcome Message – These brief remarks will set the stage for the day. They will also provide attendes with the tools and information they will need to get the most out of the showcase.
1:10 PM
Modernizing Systems with Blockchain to Prevent Fraud, Waste, and Abuse in Government. – The authors of the report will describe what they learned through the process of writing the report.
2:15 PM
Utilizing Blockchain Technology and Fractional Ownership to Combat Vacant Housing
Ebony M. Thompson leads the nation’s first municipal initiative to apply blockchain to land records and vacant-property disposition, and advises on tokenization, real-world assets, and public-sector FinTech governance.
2:20 PM
Secure, Verifiable And Connected Data Fabric – Ian will be discussing how SIMBA Chain is transforming siloed supply chain and logistics data into a secure, verifiable, and connected data fabric. The talk will focus on how blockchain, combined with permissioned data receipts and knowledge graphs, creates an end-to-end flow from disconnected information to trusted, actionable intelligence. He will highlight SIMBA’s work across the U.S. Department of Defense, such as Air Force supply chain bottleneck reduction, DLA shipment tracking, and secure container monitoring.
2:30 PM
High-Speed Trust: Using Acki Nacki to Secure Government Operations at Scale – The presentation introduces GOSH.AI operating on the Acki Nacki blockchain as a structural solution to fraud, waste, and improper payments in government systems. It argues that billions are lost annually due to infrastructure weaknesses, not personnel failure. The proposed model reframes government processes as verifiable, tamper-proof software enforced by autonomous AI agents, immutable blockchain records, and privacy-preserving payments. The system emphasizes kernel-level security, full auditability, and real-time oversight, offering a unified platform designed to make compliance automatic, fraud structurally difficult, and transparency verifiable by design.
2:40 PM
The Will of the People, Made Legible Again – The Will of the People, Made Legible Again explores the erosion of democratic trust caused by “civic fraud” and the overwhelming noise of digital misinformation. We propose a modernization framework using blockchain and AI to verify authentic constituent voices while protecting individual privacy.
3:10 PM
Pathway to Decentralized Identity – Walkthrough of the standards for issuance and use of verifiable credentials with a highlight on the state of California and the Dog Tag App.
3:20 PM
PAI3 Secure AI Infrastructure You Control – This presentation describes the need for trusted, on-site AI systems for government and regulated enterprises. It highlights the risks of cloud-based AI, including data exposure, lack of transparency, and compliance barriers, and presents the PAI3 “Power Node” as a plug-and-play, decentralized AI solution deployed within secure environments. It emphasizes data sovereignty, regulatory compliance, and expanding government adoption .
3:25 PM
Data Integrity and Provable Immutability in Government and Financial Services – Walacor’s presentation describes an AI-ready, quantum-resilient data integrity platform that secures the “data kernel” with cryptographic proofs and tamper-evident immutability so autonomous systems can act on trusted data. It highlights DoW use cases, especially sensor-to-shooter workflows, where verified sensor data moves through mission systems (e.g., TAK/TITAN/AFATDS/IBCS) to enable rapid, auditable decisions without corrupted inputs.
3:35 PM
Control & Tracking of Government Forecasting, Budgeting, Tracking, and Payments
3:40 PM
FundsChain – Blockchain for Disbursement Traceability & Fiduciary Oversight – An overview of FundsChain, its benefits, progress so far and the ambitious roadmap ahead to transform development finance.
3:55 PM
The Value of Tokenization to Government – Executive briefing for U.S. federal government leadership on real-world asset (RWA) tokenization as a national economic strategy.
4:30 PM
High Performance Blockchain for Government – DomiChain: High Performance Blockchain for Government Use Cases
