The GBA AI Working Group is actively developing the Blockchain Maturity Model (BMM) AI Supplement, a standards-based framework designed to evaluate and certify the trustworthiness of blockchain solutions that integrate artificial intelligence. This supplement builds on the core BMM by introducing additional criteria focused on transparency, auditability, security, and lifecycle accountability specific to AI-enabled systems. It addresses critical concerns such as data provenance, model integrity, ethical compliance, and regulatory alignment.

The Working Group meets every Tuesday at 12:00 PM (New York time), starting January 20, 2026 to advance this important initiative.
