GBA Assesses Oracle Blockchain Platform, Rates It Level 1
The Government Blockchain Association (GBA) is proud to announce the completion of a Blockchain Maturity Model (BMM) assessment of the Oracle Blockchain Platform. The assessment, conducted by GBA-certified experts, rated the platform as Level 1 on the maturity scale.
The evaluation was a rigorous process encompassing Oracle’s managed blockchain service built on Hyperledger Fabric 2.5.3, deployed on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and its on-premises/third-party cloud Enterprise Edition. This thorough review examined multiple facets of the platform, including its permissioned, private, and consortium blockchain implementations.
The assessment provided a comprehensive analysis of solution maturity, infrastructure, industry applications, and functionality. Oracle’s Blockchain Platform was evaluated in a production environment under the stewardship of GBA’s expert assessors, ensuring a thorough and impartial review process.
This Level 1 rating reflects Oracle’s foundational maturity and serves as a benchmark for continued enhancement. The GBA remains committed to fostering trust and transparency in blockchain solutions through the Blockchain Maturity Model.
