New GBA Working Group: Community Engagement
The Government Blockchain Association (GBA) is excited to announce the formation of a new Community Engagement Working Group—a dedicated team of professionals focused on empowering civil servants and local government leaders to explore and implement blockchain solutions that address real-world public sector challenges.
From municipalities and counties to states, provinces, and tribal nations, public servants around the world face increasing demands for transparency, efficiency, and accountability. Blockchain technology offers a powerful toolkit for meeting these demands—enabling innovative approaches to service delivery, public records, identity management, voting, procurement, and more.
The Community Engagement Working Group exists to:
- Foster collaboration among government officials, technologists, and civic innovators
- Develop educational resources and practical use cases
- Support pilot programs and policy development
- Share success stories and challenges from the front lines of local governance
Weekly Meetings – You’re Invited!
This working group meets every Wednesday at 12:00 PM (New York time) to share insights, coordinate efforts, and build a community of changemakers.
