Welcome to the Government Blockchain Association (GBA) Events Website. By registering for or attending any GBA event, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Registration and Payment
All event registrations must be completed through the official GBA event platform. Full payment is required at the time of registration unless otherwise specified. Registration is considered confirmed only upon receipt of payment.
2. No Refund Policy
All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.
By completing your registration, you acknowledge and agree that:
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, or inability to attend for any reason.
- Tickets may not be transferred unless explicitly authorized by GBA in writing.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances (including but not limited to weather, travel disruptions, or personal emergencies), the no-refund policy remains in effect.
GBA reserves the right to modify event details, including date, location, or speakers, without obligation to issue refunds.
3. Event Modifications and Cancellation
GBA reserves the right to:
- Modify the event schedule, program, speakers, or venue at any time.
- Cancel or postpone an event due to circumstances beyond its control.
In the event of cancellation by GBA, participants may be offered a credit toward a future event at GBA’s discretion.
4. Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully. GBA reserves the right to remove any attendee who engages in disruptive, inappropriate, or harmful behavior without refund.
5. Photography, Video, and Media Release
By attending a GBA event, you grant the Government Blockchain Association (GBA) the unrestricted right to:
- Photograph, record, and capture your likeness, voice, and participation in any format (photo, video, audio, or digital media).
- Use, reproduce, distribute, publish, and display such media in any format or channel, including but not limited to:
- Websites
- Social media platforms
- Promotional materials
- Marketing campaigns
- Educational content
You acknowledge and agree that:
- These materials may be used without further notice or compensation.
- GBA retains full ownership and rights to all captured media.
- You waive any rights to inspect or approve the final use of such media.
If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, you must notify event organizers in writing prior to the event. GBA will make reasonable efforts but cannot guarantee exclusion from all recordings.
6. Intellectual Property
All event content, including presentations, materials, and recordings, remains the intellectual property of GBA or its respective speakers and partners. Unauthorized recording, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
7. Liability Disclaimer
By participating in a GBA event, you agree that:
- GBA is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property.
- Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
8. Privacy
Personal information collected during registration will be handled in accordance with GBA’s privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for and attending a GBA event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
