Artificial Intelligence Working Group Update
GBA AI Working Group Developing BMM Artificial Intelligence Supplement
The GBA Artificial Intelligence Working Group is actively developing a new Blockchain Maturity Model (BMM) Artificial Intelligence Supplement, currently in working draft form.
This supplement is being designed to help assess AI-enabled blockchain solutions by addressing AI-specific governance, risk management, transparency, auditability, security, and compliance considerations. The current draft includes proposed guidance on topics such as AI risk tiers, blockchain-enabled audit trails, model transparency, dataset governance, training documentation, digital signatures, accountability, monitoring, and assessment methodology.
GBA members and subject matter experts are invited to join the AI Working Group and participate in the development of this important draft. This is an opportunity to help shape practical guidance for trusted AI systems that use blockchain to strengthen transparency, accountability, and assurance. The group meets every Tuesday at 1:00 PM (New York). For call details log into the GBA website and visit the AI Working Group Calendar Event Listing.
After completing the AI Supplement, the AI Working Group will also join GBA’s broader cross-working group effort to publish a report on The Impact of AI, Blockchain, and Quantum on Financial Services.
To get involved, join the AI Working Group and contribute your expertise to this important work.
