UNITED NATIONS AND LTO NETWORK RELEASE WORLD’S FIRST OPEN-SOURCE BLOCKCHAIN PLATFORM FOR LAND REGISTRY (game changer??)

– This UN initiative “GoLandRegistry” utilizes a a blockchain add-on to a country’s existing land registry system

– UN is supporting the Gov’t. of Afghanistan to leapfrog conventional technologies for land registration and land-based taxation

– LTO Network and the UN Office of Information and Communication Technology will publish the source code for the verification tool in the UN’s public GitHub repo
