One of the original inventors of blockchain will speak at ‘Blockchain & Infrastructure- The Rise of AI’ in Washington, DC.

Scott Stornetta, the co-author of the 1991 paper “How to Time-Stamp a Digital Document”, is an American blockchain pioneer, scientist, inventor, and investor. His work was foundational in creating Satoshi Nakamoto’s revolutionary Bitcoin whitepaper, and Scott is considered to be one of the original creators of blockchain technology.

In his keynote, ‘Blockchain, AI, and the Arc of Innovation, Dr. Stornetta will describe the transformative power of both blockchain and AI as technologies with a common root. By seeing both of these as part of an arc that has been running since the mid-19th century, we are better able to infer what types of innovation to expect next.
