GBA Project Team Pursuits Space Research Funding
The GBA Space Working Group is considering a new government-funded opportunity related to in-orbit manufacturing with terrestrial applications. This is a significant early-phase project designed to explore the feasibility of commercial space missions that align closely with GBA’s mission of advancing the responsible adoption of blockchain and emerging technologies in government and critical infrastructure.
While the full details of the opportunity will only be shared after appropriate confidentiality measures are in place, we are currently seeking interested GBA members to form a collaborative project team to pursue this effort.
This initiative may involve roles in areas such as:
-
Space systems design and mission concept development
-
Blockchain or DLT applications for data integrity, supply chain, or smart contracts
-
Commercialization and go-to-market strategy
-
Policy, regulatory, or technical risk analysis
Want to Get Involved?
If you are interested in learning more and potentially contributing to this project, please send a brief expression of interest to WorkingGroups@GBAglobal.org.
Once we receive your response, we will follow up with an initial coordination call and provide additional information under mutual confidentiality.
This is a timely opportunity to position GBA members at the forefront of trusted space-based innovation — and to demonstrate the value of blockchain as a strategic enabler in future space missions.
We look forward to collaborating with those interested in shaping this initiative.
