GBA Education Working Group Publishes Training Development and Publication Process

The Government Blockchain Association (GBA) Education Working Group has approved a new process for bringing training content into the GBA education ecosystem. This process creates a clear path for receiving, evaluating, developing, reviewing, approving, and publishing training through GBA channels.

This is a meaningful step for GBA members because it makes it easier to turn member expertise into recognized educational content. Many GBA members have deep experience in blockchain and emerging technologies. Until now, there has not been a single, consistent process for moving that knowledge from an idea or set of materials into a GBA-supported training offering.

The new process provides that pathway. It gives members a clear way to bring forward training ideas for GBA consideration, whether the content is developed by a member, created in collaboration with GBA, offered as a co-branded program, or connected to a certification, workshop, professional development effort, or Working Group initiative.

Once a course idea is submitted, it will move through a managed process that includes proposal review, outline development, peer review, course development, final approval, publication, launch, and ongoing maintenance. When a course relates to a specific technical, policy, or industry area, subject matter experts may also be asked to review the content to help ensure accuracy and alignment with GBA priorities.

This process is designed to protect the credibility of GBA education. It helps ensure that training published or promoted through GBA is relevant, accurate, professionally organized, and properly reviewed. It also helps clarify important issues such as ownership, attribution, contributor roles, and revenue-sharing before a course is launched.

For GBA members, the benefit is practical. Members now have a defined way to contribute expertise, expand their professional visibility, support GBA’s mission, and help build trusted training resources for government, industry, and the broader blockchain community. Organizational members may also use the process to collaborate with GBA on co-branded educational programs that reflect both their specialized knowledge and GBA’s standards for quality and governance.

The Education Working Group is now inviting members to bring forward ideas for new training content related to topics aligned with GBA’s mission. GBA members who have course ideas, existing materials, case studies, instructional content, or specialized expertise are encouraged to submit them to education@GBAglobal.org.
