Group Description

The Miami Supply Chain 2.0 Alliance (The Alliance):

1) Includes the main stakeholders and participants in the maritime, land and air (multi-modal) freight companies, freight forwarders, brokers, 3PL, last mile delivery, carriers, and importers/exporters
2) Develops collaborative and customized solutions to move freight and shipments using blockchain and other associated technologies
3) Uses a series of workshops, training, and conferences to educate stakeholders about blockchain technology and increase awareness for future implementation.
4) Enables members to develop tailor-made solutions in an open source environment
5) Assists and enables members to make cost-effective decisions and to choose from multiple blockchain solutions for the import or export of merchandises to and from Miami using distributed ledger solutions
6) Facilities the use of peer to peer instant payments through smart contracts and eliminates unnecessary paperwork
7) Provides support to members on related technologies including 5G, AI, edge computing, cloud, and more
8) Provides thought space to advance blockchain technology in improving the region’s supply chain, and
9) Undertakes projects such as proof of concepts, pilots for the benefit of the collective benefit of the Alliance Members.
