The Media and News Integrity Working Group focuses on leveraging blockchain technology to enhance the accuracy, transparency, and trustworthiness of media, news and digital information. In an era of misinformation and digital manipulation, this group brings together experts, technologists, journalists, and policymakers to develop blockchain-based solutions that promote verifiable and tamper-proof content.

This group actively recruits professionals from journalism, cybersecurity, media, and technology to collaborate on innovative solutions. Members contribute by developing work products such as white papers, reports, and best practices that address misinformation and media integrity. Additionally, the group promotes GBA members by showcasing their contributions to blockchain solutions for information integrity.
