The GBA Working Group on Robotics and Autonomous Devices explores the intersection of blockchain technology with robotics, autonomous systems, and intelligent machines. This group brings together government leaders, industry experts, technologists, and academics to examine how distributed ledger technologies can enhance trust, transparency, and accountability in autonomous systems.
Key areas of focus include secure data exchange, decentralized coordination, identity and provenance of devices, automated decision-making, and compliance with regulatory frameworks. The group will also evaluate real-world applications in sectors such as defense, transportation, public safety, healthcare, and smart infrastructure.
Through research, collaboration, and knowledge sharing, the working group aims to develop frameworks, standards, and best practices to guide the ethical and effective deployment of robotics and autonomous technologies in the public sector.
