As a recognized industry leader Mr. Jeremy Bates was recruited to serve as CEO of Vaquero Vietato, a crypto and digital asset insurance startup. He comes to the role from his third start-up, Homemaide, which he founded and whose founding team was acqui-hired by Walmart Labs ($1.6B in net revenue/day, +1.1B MAU). Prior Jeremy led fintech policy and software dev teams at Prudential (acquired by Berkshire Hathaway in 2012) and Wellington. The Obama Administration recruited Mr. Bates to lead product teams that built major initiatives in affordable housing and the mortgage/finance markets. Prior he led product teams who negotiated with governors, state and federal legislators on implementing the Affordable Care Act via demo’s. His team’s ACA disbursements grew YOY from $50B to $100B. Jeremy also researched innovation with Harvard's Dr. Clayton Christensen, the father of the theory of disruptive innovation, which resulted in the publication of Disrupting Class: How Disruptive Innovation Will Change the Way the World Learns, the NYT bestseller. Mr. Bates authored extensive research on risk and innovation. Many of the studies in this research were funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and led to multiple publications. Mr. Bates’ product dev leadership includes serving as the cofounder of Analytic Enterprises where within just-in-time manufacturing, he converted demand signal-driven supply chain (DDSC) data into predictive models and shipped +50 Direct to Consumer (DTC) consumer packaged goods (CPG) which grossed +$100B worldwide.
