Voting Working Group

The Voting Working Group Identifies, studies, and develops informative materials such as white papers, presentations, articles, and other work products requested by GBA members to improve the body of technologies, processes, and practices to Improve the integrity and efficiency of voting systems. This working group focusses on using blockchain technology for voting. This is done by casting votes as transactions, the blockchain can track all the vote counts.  This Increases transparency and trust because everyone has visibility and can agree on the final count because they can see and count the votes themselves.  The blockchain also leaves an immutable audit trail that can be independently verified that no one tampered with the votes in any way.
