Getting to the Capitol
Click the link “Getting to the Capitol” to find out about parking and the various ways to reach the Capitol, including walking routes, shuttles, and nearby Metro bus and subway stops.
Directions to Enter:
Enter the U.S. Capitol Visitors Center from the First Street side of the Capitol. Go down the ramp or stairs to enter through the security checkpoint. Please give yourself enough time to get through security.
If there is a long line tell security that you are there on official business in room CVC 200.
Note: Prohibited Items Include:
- Aerosol containers and non-aerosol sprays (except for prescribed medical needs)
- Bags larger than 18″ wide x 14″ high x 8.5″ deep
- Bottles, cans, food, and beverage containers
- Sealed envelopes and packages

Finding the Venue Space:
Once you get through security, you will be directed to go into a second room to put back on your shoes, belt, and collect your items. Instead of going through the doors towards the main entrance, turn around and go down the stairs marked Congressional Auditorium.
Continue straight and you will see the registration tables. Pickup your nametag and Tote Bag and enter the 450-seat auditorium. Do you want to include your flyer in the Tote Bag? Put Your Flyer in the Tote Bag.
Daytime Conference
- Dress Code: GBA events are not crypto events. Please dress appropriately for the U.S. Capitol. Suites and professional business atire is required.
- Lost & Found: All found items will be held at the GBA Member Services table. Please see the member services representative (Kyle) for assistance.
- Meals: Since this event starts aat 1:00 PM, lunch will not be served. Please eat something before yo uarrive. There is a full-service cafeteria withing a 2-minute walking distance of the audetoreum. However, it may be very busy between 12-1:00 PM with school tours. Eating at the cafeteria before 12 or afer 1 will be quicker. We will serve coffee from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and snacks will be provided in the afternoon.

- Prior to the event, help us promote this event on social media by following #GBAevents and please like, comment, and share the posts.
- During the event, please take lots of pictures and tag all photos and posts with #GBAevents, and @GBAglobal. Please also follow these hashtags and like, comment, and share these posts from fellow conference participants. We encourage attendees to make frequent posts. The GBA communications team will amplify positive messages.
Evening Reception
Dont Miss This Immersive Gala Networking Event
The daytime event will be great for learning – the evening reception will be where the networking happens.
- Get Your Tickets – Daytime tickets are free. The evening reception has a minimal charge. $149 for GBA members and $199 for non-members. It is well worth it for the entertainment and network value. Get Your Tickets now before they sell out.
- Photographer: Our wonderful photographer, Doug Sanford, will be taking pictures. If you are not familiar with his amazing work, take a look at this website. Please feel free to ask him to take your picture. Even better, gather your friends and get a group shot. All photos will be available for downloading a few days after the conference.
- Dress the Part- James Bond attire encouraged. Along with high-level networking, this evening reception invites all attendees to pick up their ‘Mission Statement’ and gather clues to find the ‘Titanium Canister’. Ever wanted to test out your inner spy? This would be your chance.
