New GBA Government Liaison – Sandy Barsky

We are pleased to announce that Sandy Barsky has accepted the role as the GBA Government Liaison for the Blockchain & Infrastructure, the Rise of AI Conference in Washington, DC on September 28-29, 2023.

Sandy brings with him a wealth of experience, having worked for decades at the US General Services Administration and currently serving as the Executive Program Director for Government and Education at Oracle. Throughout his career, Sandy has been instrumental in fostering collaboration between industry, government, and academia, earning a stellar reputation as a champion of government innovation and transformation.

Sandy’s deep-rooted advocacy for the GBA makes his acceptance of this role all the more remarkable. As Government Liaison, Sandy will play a vital role in inviting government officials to participate in the conference and facilitating connections and collaborations between government VIPs, officials, and their peers from both government and industry sectors.

This conference couldn’t have come at a more opportune time, as concerns regarding the transparency of artificial intelligence (AI) are being actively discussed within government circles worldwide.
