KIROS Token Awarded Blockchain Maturity Model (BMM) Level 3

The KIROS Token has been rated as Blockchain Maturity Model (BMM) Level 3, the highest maturity rating granted to any blockchain solution to date. The recognition was awarded at the United States Capitol during a high-level meeting of policymakers, government officials, and industry leaders from around the world focused on how blockchain technology can help reduce fraud, waste, and abuse in government systems.

The announcement coincided with discussions surrounding a policy report, “Modernizing Systems with Blockchain to Prevent Fraud, Waste and Abuse in Government” The event brought together experts to explore how blockchain-based systems can strengthen accountability and modernize government infrastructure.

The Blockchain Maturity Model, developed by the Government Blockchain Association (GBA), provides a structured framework for evaluating the maturity and reliability of blockchain solutions. The model assesses systems across critical elements such as governance, security, privacy, interoperability, reliability, and performance to determine whether they meet internationally recognized expectations for trusted blockchain implementations.

Achieving Level 3  indicates that a blockchain solution has demonstrated, through evidence and operational testing, that it functions as intended and can meet its defined operational requirements. Solutions at this level have validated their design and capabilities and demonstrated that the core elements of the system can support real-world deployment.

The KIROS platform was recognized for its potential to support transparent financial infrastructure and traceable digital transactions. These capabilities are particularly relevant to the policy discussions held at the Capitol, where leaders examined how blockchain technology can provide immutable records, verifiable transactions, and improved visibility into the movement of funds.

Such capabilities can enable agencies to shift from reactive auditing toward preventative oversight, helping identify irregularities earlier and reducing opportunities for fraud, waste, and abuse in government programs.

The recognition of KIROS at the U.S. Capitol highlights the growing role of standardized frameworks such as the Blockchain Maturity Model in guiding responsible blockchain adoption across both government and industry sectors.
