GBA Report: Impact of AI, Blockchain & Quantum on Financial Services

The Government Blockchain Association (GBA) is drafting a new global report to be released at the GBA’s Fall conference, the Future of Money, Governance and the Law (FoMGL).

Titled “The Impact of AI, Blockchain & Quantum on Financial Services,” this report will explore how these transformative technologies are reshaping the future of finance. The initiative will focus on practical, near-term applications that enhance trust, efficiency, and computational power across financial systems.

This effort reflects a powerful convergence:

• Blockchain builds trust
• Artificial Intelligence drives efficiency
• Quantum computing unlocks new levels of power

Together, these technologies are redefining money, governance, and the legal frameworks that support them.

What the Report Will Cover

The report will provide an objective, non-partisan analysis of:

• Emerging financial technology solutions
• Legal and regulatory considerations
• Economic impacts of digital asset adoption
• Real-world implementations expected within the next few years

It will also highlight Blockchain Maturity Model (BMM) aligned and rated solutions, helping government and industry leaders identify trusted, validated technologies.

This report will be developed through a structured, collaborative process involving GBA Working Groups, with contributions from subject matter experts around the world.
