For the past year, Mr. Jackson has served as a Vice President Space Communications and Commercialization at Forward Edge-AI and serves as the Principal Investigator for: • Cyber Assured Space Internet Device (CASI-D) – Develop a blockchain/DLT to ensure the provenance, integrity and quality of space-based Machine Learning algorithms and associated training data (counter adversarial Artificial Intelligence). • Isidore Space Communications Security – Based on Isidore quantum resistant cybersecurity technology, Isidore Space COMSEC enhances cyber-resiliency and autonomy of space infrastructure and introduces anti-fragility in the face of an adversarial attack, trust/authenticity, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the information lifecycle processes to secure global strategic and tactical communications in contested environments, and in all domains. • Low Probability of Detection/Low Probability of Interception – This capability uses commercial technology to enhance the mission capabilities of unmanned air, surface, and subsurface vessels and systems. • National DigiFoundry (NDF) – The NDF is a groundbreaking national collaboration initiative to foster continuous innovation in the digital asset ecosystem. In an era where digital assets, such as cryptocurrencies, have attained over a trillion dollars in market value, the need for public and private collaboration is not just important but essential. Mr. Jackson retired as a Lieutenant Commander from the US Navy in 1994 where he served as a Naval Aviator and Aerospace Engineering Duty Officer, earning specialties in Space Systems Engineering, Carrier Onboard Delivery Logistics and carrier-based Airborne Early Warning and Control. He also served as project manager for the Navy Space Technology Program’s Modular Electrical Power System (MEPS) and the Handheld Earth-Oriented Real-Time Cooperative User-Friendly Location-Targeting and Environmental System (HERCULES) which flew on Space Shuttle Discovery mission STS-53. After retiring, Kevin directly supported the US Intelligence Community in multiple projects, including the development and deployment of the Intelligence Community Information Technology Enterprise (IC ITE). He also supported digital transformation projects for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). In 1996, a SENTEL Corporation team led by Mr. Jackson received the NASA SBIR of the Year Award for the Quality Assurance Portable Data Collection system (QAPDC), a paperless procedures system for Space Shuttle and International Space Station payload processing that was used to process the New Horizons payload for its mission to Pluto. His formal education includes a MS Computer Engineering from Naval Postgraduate School; MA National Security & Strategic Studies from Naval War College; and a BS Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
