Points of Contact

Before You Get There

  •  Tote Bag – If you would like to have promotional material in the physical or Virtual Tote Bag please make sure that you have submitted your flyer on the Document Submission Form. We need the flyers printed by September 10 to ensure they get inserted into the Tote Bags.
  • Logo on Website – Make sure that your logo and any graphics are properly displayed on the Event Website.
  • Speaking – If you are speaking, pleae make sure you review the Speakers FAQs page.
  • Tickets – Please make sure that you have sent an email to events@GBAglobal.org with the names and information for the members of your organization attending the event(s). We will need:
    • Name
    • Organization
    • Job Title
    • Email
    • Phone

Getting There

September 29, Capital Hill Roundtable

Location

The Roundtable will be in a Conference Room at the US Capitol. Room Number TBD. Lunch will be served following the roundtable. Hill office visitis will begin after lunch and conclude in late afternoon.

Entry & Access

Directions to Enter:

Enter the U.S. Capitol Visitors Center from the First Street side of the Capitol. You will go down a stairs or a ramp to enter through the security checkpoint. Please give yourself enough time to get through security. If there is a long line tell security that you are there on official business in room CVC 200. The official name of the event is “Using Blockchain to Prevent Fraud, waste & Abuse in Government”

Once inside you will need to go through security screening. Please note that the following items are prohibited:

  • Aerosol containers and non-aerosol sprays (except for prescribed medical needs)
  • Bags larger than 18″ wide x 14″ high x 8.5″ deep
  • Bottles, cans, food, and beverage containers
  • Sealed envelopes and packages

Finding the Venue Space:

Once you get through security, you will be directed to go into a second room to put back on your shoes, belt, and collect your items. Instead of going through the doors towards the main entrance, turn around and go down the stairs marked Congressional Auditorium.

If you are attending the morning Roundtable turn right at the bottom of the stairs. A check in table will be set up outside our Conference Room with name badges. Signs will direct you to the room from the lobby upstairs. 

The Future of Money, Governance, and the Law Conference- Sept 30

September 30- FoMGL full-day conference.

13th Floor. Tell security on main floor that you are going to the GBA conference at the Press Club.

9:00 AM- 5:00 PM. Check-in begins at 8:30 AM. Coffee begins at 8:30.

Lunch will be served.

For Sponsors with a display table: Set up for Display Tables in the Exhibit Hall at the National Press Club will begin at 7:15 AM on Sept 30. GBA has rented a large hall adjacent to the conference ballroom which will be set up with tables, blue tablecloths, step and repeat signs for each table with sponsors’ logo, tagline, and QR code to website on a FoMGL 2026 background. Please bring materials for display, or email your printable PDFs to the FedEX office at 10332 Main St, Fairfax, VA 22030.

Annual Achievement Awards update:  With the acquisition of the large auditorium at the United Nations Headquarters building in New York City, we have decided to hold the Annual Achievement Awards Ceremony in New York on October 2. All AAA Finalists will be given tickets to the Conference, the Gala Reception, and the New York Fintech Summit.

Gala Reception at the Whittemore House-1526 New Hampshire Avenue, N.W. September 30. 6:30- 10:00 PM

We will return again to the Whittemore House for GBA’s Gala Reception. This year’s reception will feature GBA’s own Cryptopoly game, a Monopoly-inspired game of trading sponsor-branded ‘Cryptopoly’ cards and movie money to win the basket of tokens at the end of the night. It’s a fun and unique way to network in a gorgeous mansion, and possibly win some promising tokens from our generous sponsors.
