What Government Leaders Need to Know
This congressional lunch & learn will provide a practical, non-technical overview of digital assets, tokenization, and trusted blockchain infrastructure. The session will address the current regulatory and legislative environment, including the growing policy focus on asset tokenization and digital asset market structure. It will explore how blockchain can support stronger auditability, financial controls, payment integrity, and efforts to reduce fraud, waste, and abuse in government systems.
The discussion will also introduce the Blockchain Maturity Model (BMM), a framework for assessing whether blockchain solutions are secure, governed, scalable, interoperable, and suitable for trusted public-sector adoption. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of the questions government leaders should ask when evaluating digital asset and blockchain solutions.
This event is co-hosted by the Government Blockchain Association, IT-Acquisitions Advisory Council, Mortar Strategies, L4S Corporation, and the Institute for Digital Asset Innovation.
