Doctor Ingraham is an experienced leader in healthcare information technology and informatics with fifteen years of health information technology consulting. She is experienced in developing innovation strategies around new technologies, as well as leading advisory sessions and IT Program Management. Doctor Ingraham holds a Ph.D. in business administration with specialization in the management of engineering and technology. Her dissertation was a phenomenological study focused on the adoption of the electronic health record (EHR) by psychiatrists and psychiatric ARNPs in a community behavioral health organization. Dr. Ingraham spoke at the Government Blockchain Association (GBA) symposium at George Mason University in addition to speaking on a panel in Washington D.C. on Blockchain in Healthcare and its impact on reducing the interoperability gap. She leads the GBA Corporate Advisory Board and is a member of the GBA’s Healthcare Working Group. She is also a member of the HIMSS Blockchain in Healthcare Task Force. She recently co-authored published HIMSS blogposts such as (1) TEFCA and Blockchain: Enabling Trusted Data Flow Between Health Networks, and (2) Blockchain in Healthcare’s Transformative Power to Support Trusted Exchange. Additionally, she co-authored two peer-reviewed journal article in Blockchain in Healthcare Today (BHTY) titled (1) The Fourth Industrial Revolution of Healthcare Information Technology: Key Business Components to Unlock the Value of a Blockchain-Enabled Solution, and (2) Blockchain, Interoperability, and Self-Sovereign Identity: Trust Me, It’s My Data. Doctor Ingraham consulted and provided program leadership to deploy the electronic health record (EHR) system at Sutter Health, a hospital system in California consisting of five geographic regions and 24 hospitals, affiliated clinics, and practices. Doctor Ingraham successfully led the cutover/activation efforts for 22 of the 24 hospitals. Doctor Ingraham also consulted and led the cutover for the first 3 of 11 hospitals at NY City Health + Hospitals (NYC H+H). Under the leadership of her senior vice president, and in collaboration with her IT and operational counterparts, the team overcame implementation barriers which plagued the organization for about 3 years and successfully deployed the EHR to Queens and Elmhurst hospitals within 45 days of arriving on site. Dr. Ingraham’s other successes include leading the clinical informatics team at Anthelio Healthcare to deploy a laboratory information system (LIS) across six hospitals as well as the buildout of a centralized corporate laboratory. Additionally, while consulting with CTG Healthcare Solutions, Inc. she worked closely with sales executives to develop a business model to remotely build clinical order sets. Her work resulted in establishing a strategic offering for CTG as well as reducing the cost and resource burden of building the order sets to the client.
